During 2012, the club worked with young people to increase their knowledge and involvement in the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Preston Guild.

The young people undertook desk research to find out about the 2012 Games and Preston Guild and produced visual displays of their findings.

The young people also took part in sports activities that were part of the current and ancient Olympic Games and some of the young people went to the Olympic Park, where they interviewed staff and volunteers who were part of the 2012 Games organisers.

The culmination of the project involved young people taking part in the Preston Guild community procession through the streets of Preston.
